Tutorial Assistant Local Government Job at TICD

Tengeru Institute of Community Development (TICD) is inviting applications from qualified and dedicated individuals for the position of Tutorial Assistant (Local Government). Responsibilities:

• Perform academic, research, consultancy, and community service duties under supervision.
• Teach students up to NTA Level 6, equivalent to Ordinary Diploma level.
• Assist in conducting tutorial sessions and practical exercises for students.
• Prepare learning resources and instructional materials for tutorial exercises.
• Support students through academic guidance and learning assistance.
• Assist in conducting research activities, data collection, and analysis.
• Participate in consultancy assignments and community engagement activities under supervision.
• Support departmental academic programs and institutional initiatives.
• Prepare reports and other academic documents as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration in Local Government Management from a recognized institution.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Strong understanding of public administration, local governance, and public sector management.
• Ability to assist in teaching, tutorial exercises, and research activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community stakeholders.
