ClimaCare Tanzania is seeking a passionate and motivated Fundraising and Resource Mobilization Intern to support fundraising initiatives across various projects, events, and organizational activities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in climate action, environmental protection, and community development to gain practical experience in the nonprofit sector.
Based in Mtwara, Tanzania, this on-site volunteer internship focuses on supporting community-based climate adaptation and environmental conservation efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with local communities, youth groups, and organizational partners while contributing to impactful climate resilience initiatives and organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support fundraising initiatives for various projects, events, and organizational activities.
- Engage with youth groups and community members to support project implementation.
- Collect basic field data and community feedback.
- Document project success stories, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders on project activities.
- Participate in team meetings and organizational events.
- Represent ClimaCare Tanzania in community forums and outreach activities when required.
