Job Description
This role is responsible for teaching Mathematics and Science subjects, supporting student learning, and contributing to the academic development of learners. The Teacher Grade III C will prepare lessons, deliver classroom instruction, assess student performance, and ensure that educational objectives are achieved in accordance with curriculum requirements and school standards.

Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics and Science subjects according to the approved curriculum
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching schedules
- Develop course materials, teaching aids, and learning resources
- Prepare classroom exercises, assignments, tests, and examinations
- Deliver effective classroom instruction using appropriate teaching methods
- Assess and evaluate student performance and academic progress
- Supervise school examinations and prepare examination reports
- Maintain accurate student records and academic documentation
- Encourage and monitor student attendance and participation
- Follow up on absenteeism and report attendance issues to school management
- Communicate attendance and performance matters to parents or guardians when necessary
- Support students’ academic, social, and personal development
- Ensure discipline and proper classroom management
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Participate in school activities and educational programs
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education majoring in Mathematics and Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and Science subjects
- Understanding of teaching methodologies and curriculum delivery
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
- Knowledge of student evaluation and examination procedures
