Assistant Lecturer (Psychology) Job at TICD

Tengeru Institute of Community Development (TICD) is inviting applications from qualified and passionate individuals for the position of Assistant Lecturer (Psychology). Responsibilities:

• Teach Psychology courses up to NTA Level 8, equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree level.
• Prepare learning resources and instructional materials for tutorial exercises and classroom teaching.
• Conduct research, seminars, workshops, and case studies in areas related to Psychology.
• Supervise students’ academic projects and research work.
• Prepare teaching manuals, course outlines, and other academic materials.
• Participate in consultancy assignments and community service activities under supervision.
• Assess students’ academic performance and provide guidance where necessary.
• Support curriculum development and academic quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized institution with a GPA of 3.8 or above.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized institution with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Strong understanding of psychological theories, principles, and practices.
• Ability to teach, conduct research, and supervise student projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an academic and research environment.
• Commitment to professional ethics and academic excellence.
