Communication and Content Creation Intern at ClimaCare Tanzania

ClimaCare Tanzania is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Communication and Content Creation Intern to support storytelling, awareness campaigns, and communication efforts across its climate and environmental initiatives. Based in Mtwara, Tanzania, this on-site volunteer internship focuses on community-based climate adaptation and environmental protection. The selected candidate will help communicate the organization’s impact through engaging content while working closely with communities, youth groups, local partners, and project teams to amplify climate action and resilience efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content that tells the organization’s story and drives awareness.
• Support communication and outreach activities across various platforms.
• Engage with youth and community groups during project activities.
• Collect basic field data and community feedback.
• Document success stories, project achievements, and lessons learned.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders on communication initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings and organizational events.
• Represent ClimaCare Tanzania in community forums and outreach activities when required.
