SANParks Graduate Internship Programme 2026

The South African National Parks (SANParks) invites applications from qualified South African graduates for its 24-month internship programme based at Kruger National Park.

This programme offers valuable workplace experience with a monthly stipend ranging from R6,355.69 to R9,088.37, depending on your qualification level (NQF 6–8).

Please note that SANParks is not obligated to offer permanent employment after the internship.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an unemployed South African graduate (18–35 years)
  • Hold a National Diploma / Bachelor’s / Honours Degree (NQF 6–8)
  • Have studied at a recognized Higher Education Institution (HEI)
  • Not have participated in any internship or work placement before
  • Not have prior formal employment experience

Invasive Alien Species

  • Unit: Conservation Management
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Honours in Conservation

Scientific Services

  • Unit: Scientific Services
  • Qualification: BSc Honours in:
    • Freshwater Ecology
    • Water Resources
    • Hydrology
    • Biodiversity & Conservation
    • Environmental Management

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)

  • Unit: Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s in:
    • Law
    • Risk Management
    • Accounting

Supply Chain Management

  • Unit: Finance (SCM)
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management

Finance (Debtors & Creditors)

  • Unit: Finance
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

Employee Wellness

  • Unit: Human Capital Management
  • Location: Skukuza / Phalaborwa
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

Communications (Media Studies)

  • Unit: Communications
  • Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s/Honours in Media Studies

Communications (Graphic Design)

  • Unit: Communications
